There’s nothing I love more than winding down with a good book at the end of a hectic day. Ever since childhood, reading has been my refuge—a way to get lost in captivating stories, explore new perspectives, and feel inspired by fresh ideas.
This season, several highly anticipated books are being released that I’m so looking forward to diving into. A few of these titles I've already read and loved. I’ll be sharing my reviews of my must-read new book releases in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, the titles are listed below. Let me know if any of them are on your reading list!
They All Came to Barney's by Gene Pressman
A look back at the rise and fall of one of the world’s most iconic fashion destinations. I still remember my first visit and my first purchase from Barney's: a pair of black patent leather Marc Jacobs flats on an early business trip. The store was legendary to me as a youngster, so my first visit was the ultimate thrill.
Barney's began as a small family-run business and grew into a mecca of fashion innovation. It influenced designers, editors, stylists, and countless creatives before its unfortunate closure. This book captures the spirit and cultural legacy of a store that helped define an era of style.

The Royal Butler by Grant Harrold
Etiquette expert and former butler to King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Grant Harrold offers a behind-the-scenes look at life within the Royal Household. With warmth and discretion, he shares stories and personal memories from his time serving the Royal Family—including touching reflections on the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
This sweet memoir follows the journey of a boy who grew up fascinated by royalty only to find himself living and working among them.

Lynn Wyatt by Ronda Carman
A celebration of the life, style, and philanthropic spirit of Lynn Wyatt. The ultimate hostess, Mrs. Wyatt is admired for her warmth, generosity, and timeless elegance. Ronda Carman’s book, which features Andy Warhol's striking portrait on the cover, includes rare photographs, personal letters, and cherished souvenirs—offering a glimpse into the remarkable life and ongoing legacy of a true icon.

Carmen dell'Orefice by Fadil Berisha
Carmen Dell’Orefice, widely considered the world’s oldest working model, has maintained her elegance and presence across an extraordinary 75-year career. At 94, she remains as captivating as ever. This magazine-style album, compiled by fashion photographer Fadil Berisha and set for release next month, highlights defining moments from Carmen’s decades in front of the camera.

Fashioning the Crown by Justine Picardie
Two of my greatest passions—fashion and royal history—come together in Justine Picardie’s upcoming book, which I had to include on this list even though it won’t be released until next year. I've read all of her books and I highly recommend them, especially Coco Chanel: The Legend and the Life and Miss Dior: A Story of Courage and Couture.
This new book promises to explore the history of the House of Windsor through the lens of fashion and jewelry. It reveals the power of image-crafting and the importance of diplomatic dressing amidst political turmoil. I have a feeling I won't be able to put it down!

Conclusion
As I look forward to these upcoming releases, I can't help but feel a sense of excitement. Each book offers a unique perspective on fashion and royal history, two subjects that I am deeply passionate about. Whether you’re a fashion aficionado or a history buff, I hope you find something on this list that piques your interest.
Remember, the world of literature is vast and inviting. It’s a journey that allows us to explore the lives of others while reflecting on our own. So, grab a cup of tea, find a cozy spot, and immerse yourself in these captivating stories. Happy reading!
